Las Vegas has a tendency to overwhelm, causing meeting planners to experience a sort of paralyzed fascination in the face of all the possibilities. But designing an itinerary that takes advantage of the city's strengths need not be intimidating, according to Tommy Licata, CEO of Creative Endeavors, who has been organizing the explorations of groups in the city for more than 20 years. "Take into account the flow of Las Vegas," he says, and be careful not to over-plan.

Leave a gift card on the incentive winners' pillows with an invitation to breakfast at tiffany's the next morning. Then replicate the high-roller experience, where a store opens up early and the gamblers come in, have a beautiful breakfast, and pick what they fancy from the display cases.
